5 Powerful Life Lessons You Can Learn With Avocados
One of the reasons I love living abroad is avocados. In Brazil, it’s hard to find avocados, and when you do, they are pretty expensive.
I love a good avocado toast and if I could, I would do it every day. Call me millennial, I don’t care. I also eat avocado with everything savoury, especially yummy massive salads.
Last year, when the pandemic first started, I remember picking an avocado to eat. It wasn’t ripe yet, so I struggled to do anything with it. It was useless, “eatless”.
Then, I thought came to my mind: life is just like avocados. That time I was pretty reflexive and that led to a lot of thoughts about avocado and life, but mainly this one:
If something is supposed to be, it feels easy, if it’s not, it feels difficult.
When an avocado is ready to be eaten, it slides like warm butter in a spoon, but when it’s not, there is nothing you can do to remove it from its peel. It’s a lost battle.
That day my avocado wasn’t ready for me, like many other times, but I learned a lot with that simple daily situation that people face around the world almost every day.
