5 Reasons To Walk More Every Day
Because walking is awesome!
In April 2021, I gave myself the challenge of walking 10,000 steps every day. I achieved it. I wrote about this here.
Since then, I have moved out of London, and I am finding it hard to go for my daily walks. I am not as inspired or motivated to leave my house as I was before.
I also got a new watch that helps me to track my steps, so now I am tracking all the steps I wasn’t able to track before when I was only using my cellphone.
And I also discovered indoor walking workouts, which help me increase my steps counts without leaving my house.
I do want to go for more walks, and if you also want it to, here are 5 reasons we should walk more:
Reason 1# Walk to connect with people — Spend time with someone online or offline.
When I am walking, I take this time to call my parents. Some days I feel like talking with them, and others, I feel like there is nothing to say. I would also love to have a walking buddy.
Reason 2# Walk to learn — Listen to a podcast or audiobook.
It’s not very often that I listen to podcasts when I am walking, nor audiobooks, but…
