A Type Of Privilege People Often Don’t Think About

When you are the one that needs to take care financially of your parents.

Most people talk about the privileges of having parents with money. They can provide access to better education and resources, such as a car when you turn 18 or a house when you are in your late 20s or early 30s. And, in addition, holidays, and many other material things and experiences.

I know that because although my parents aren’t super wealthy but always financially savvy, they gave me so many opportunities after adopting me. And they still do.

But we don’t talk much about having parents who can’t give you any of these things and also need their kids’ financial help to get by. Some parents won’t give you any of these things mentioned above, but at least they won’t give you headaches, while some other parents will make your financial life even more stressful.
