Can You Have A Relationship With Someone That Thinks Different From You?
Agreeing to disagree is the solution, we can’t always win.
I have been waiting to take my Covid-19 vaccine since they first released it in the UK. My boyfriend, whom I have been together with for almost a year and living together for almost a month, doesn’t want to take the vaccine.
In the beginning, I used to argue with him and try to make him change his mind. I would never get angry at him, but at his stubbornness. Then, I decided to let it go and now we don’t even talk about this anymore, it’s not worth it. I won’t let this thing ruin my really good relationship. We decided to agree to disagree.
It’s probably impossible to find someone that thinks exactly like you in all matters, so in some topics, you and your partner will probably disagree.
