Does Toxic Negativity Exist?

And can negativity ever be something good in our lives?

We can’t deny that we result from our lives, our experiences. Therefore, If you have had more positive experiences, you tend to be a positive person, and if you have had more negative experiences, you tend to be a negative person. Simple.

At the same time, we hear a lot about toxic positivity, that when you try to see life through a positive lens no matter how bad things are, in a way that you deny that bad feelings exist, resulting in even more stress. But what about toxic negativity?

I consider myself a negative person. I had enough rejections in my life to know that things can go more wrong than right. At the same time, I try my best to see life in a positive way. I tell myself that things will get better all the time. I like to believe that things will be alright in the end, even though life is hard.

The problem is not being a negative person (or a positive person). The problem is when you “force” your negativity or your positivity into others, and that’s when things can become toxic. It’s already hard to deal with your own thoughts, so when you are receiving…
