Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is Real and Nobody is Talking About It. So I Will.
Let me tell you a little story. In 2020, I was jobless and trying to get a job during the pandemic. I was applying for everything and one of the jobs I applied for was to work for a pharmaceutical company that sells online products for ED. I was going to work within the Brazilian market writing copy in Portuguese. Even though it was a random subject (for some people), I wanted that job because I think it’s important to demystify ED (and I had personal experience with that). I wrote the best test I could but didn’t get the job.
From personal experience, I met more than one man with this problem (and had a long-term relationship with one) and all of them in their 30s, which is considerably young. What they all had in common? They all ignored that they had an issue and either pretended everything was normal (and carried on) or that I was the problem. ED is a problem that can be treated and with successful results, so why are these men not doing something about it? The big problem here is to deal with the shame attached to it.
It’s still shameful to have ED (when a man finds it hard to get or keep an erection). It’s even more shameful to talk about it. If you are a man, the least you can do is to get it up and to keep it up and perform during all the intercourse, even if it lasts a couple of…
