One of my favourite subjects to talk about is money. For many years, I thought that it was wrong to talk about money and therefore, money was something negative.
I even remember an aunt saying when I was about 10 years old: “You can’t ever tell how much money you make if someone asks because that is wrong.” Is it?
Maybe if we know more about how much money people are making we would be able to make better decisions because most of the time we are just assuming everyone is having a lovely time financially.
The Tamires from the past were quiet about it, now I am making the Tamires of the future.
To change this energy around money, I try to talk about it every day. Actually, at my full-time job, I write about personal finances.
I can relate to a lot of people because I am trying to learn as much as I can how to make my money work for me and not the other way around. I love writing about money, and recently I needed to write an article about how to budget.
