How to Walk More Everyday From Someone That Tries to Walk 10,000 Steps Daily
One of the things that has been keeping me sane (during this pandemic) is going for walks. I am a Virgo and I love being productive, so I confess that I am a bit obsessed with my step counting. The more, the better.
My daily goal is 10,000 steps, which I can easily achieve if I go for two walks from my house to my local Pret a Manger via my local park. Even though this looks easy, it’s not. Getting two walks a day is a full-time commitment.
The pandemic has tested all of us and for me some days are better than others. Somedays I get all my steps like I am a professional walker, and others I struggle to even leave the house once. Both bad and good days are important to teach what you need to do to achieve your goals.
I also believe I got obsessed with my steps counting because it is something I can control in this uncontrollable world that we live in. It’s one of the ways that I took my power back. Everyday I take my 10,000 steps I am showing to the world who is the boss (ME!).
