If You Don’t Know When You Will Be Able To Travel Again Overseas, Don’t Worry, You Are Not Alone.
All the people that are travelling right now are living in another reality.
From the beginner of the pandemic, one thing was clear; the world was divided between the poor people and the riches. We all know that we live in a society where few have so much, and many have so little. The pandemic just made this more clear and worse.
For me, the year 2020 was difficult. I was unemployed and on benefits, and I just found a job in November/2020. Since then, I have been trying my best to live frugally and save money. I also haven’t seen my family in Brazil in more than a year and a half. And this would be different if I had money and power.
Rich people have kept travelling during the pandemic. For them, nothing needed to change. They travel in their private jets, and they don’t need to deal with the same bureaucracy normal people do. They can pay to create their own rules. They have the money and the power to do so. They are above everything including a pandemic.
At the moment, tickets to go to Brazil in December/2021 are cheap. I can even afford to buy a business class ticket (but of course, not without compromising my Emergency Fund, which is not ideal). I could…
