OK, You Cheated, But You Need To Have The Guts To Confess The Cheating

Telling the truth is hard when we are lying to ourselves.

It’s understandable why someone wants or needs to cheat. People cheat for many reasons, and it shows that something is wrong with their official relationship, as much as they wish to deny it or pretend it is not.

The important point is that nowadays, people are more open to open relationships, so there isn’t an excuse for cheaters. If you want to be with other people and have a stable relationship, find someone who agrees with this lifestyle. I am sure that plenty of people are happy with their open relationships, and cheating is no longer an issue in their lives. Monogamy is not for everyone.

My biggest problem with cheating is that most cheaters don’t have the courage to confess their infidelity because they know they might lose their official partners.

I read this article on ELLE UK: ‘I Can’t Go On Holiday Without Cheating On My Boyfriend’, and I was waiting for the author to say how she behaved when she was back home after cheating on her boyfriend during sunny holidays abroad. Back in the UK, in her rainy London flat, she pretended everything was fine, feeling a little bad about her faithful boyfriend but not bad enough to stop it.
