I was listening to a podcast, and they were talking about Adele with An Audience Show that happened in London a couple of weeks ago. One of the people in the podcast was saying that she got an invitation to go to the concert, but she didn’t want to go because she didn’t like Adele. She knows someone that works for ITV production, and that’s how she got an invitation.

The other people in the podcast were shocked but as good British people, not enough to express what they were really thinking: that everyone that had a chance like that should embrace because it’s bigger than your taste, it’s a lifetime opportunity, it’s like being part of history.

But that’s what happens when you have money, you have connections, and then opportunities like that are happening all the time to you, you don’t need to embrace them if you don’t like them, because you will be invited again for other things and hopefully some of them you will like and want to be part of.

The point here is that this show was exclusive, and no matter how much money you have, you couldn’t buy a ticket if you don’t have the right connections. If you don’t know anyone that works for ITV production, you could be a millionaire and still not…
