When You Just Have Today, Life Gets Easier (But Only If You Let Go The Expectations of Its Future Outcome)
I don’t find living easy.
Some days are really hard for me to make as a human being on Earth, others are easier.
I used to be very anxious, but after 2020, I am slowly transforming into someone that takes one day at a time every day more and more. This is a daily exercise and a practice, where the more you do, the better you get.
If I just think about the day I have today, life gets much easier. I know what I need to do (most days) to have a good day and feel I am a bit more in control of my life. (Because in reality, we aren’t.)
Usually, I walk 10,000 steps every day and I need to do two walks to get them done. I also make my bed every day and try to sleep with my dishes done and my kitchen cleaned.
I like to get changed and ready for the day with a nice outfit and a bit of make-up and hair care to feel a little put together. A shower is mandatory for me to feel good.
And I write. I am now writing one article per day here at Medium. I have my full-time writing job, where this week I decided I want to deliver 4 articles (usually I deliver 3 articles per week). I delivered one today.
