Why Is It So Important To Move Out From Your Parents’ House?
Because being a real adult demands it
I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t know how to clean their own toilet. I just can’t. I believe that everyone on Earth should be able to clean their own bathroom and make it spotless. I also believe that everyone on Earth should be able to cook their own food and take care of their own clothes. This is basic. This is part of being an adult, just like paying the bills on time (what people should also be able to do).
I haven’t lived with my parents for almost a decade now. Do I miss it? Almost every day. I miss not having to worry about house bills, about if there is food in the fridge, if I need to do laundry, If I need to clean, If I need to cook and I also miss watching television with my parents and sharing meals with them, but I don’t need to live with them to do that. Basically, I miss having two other people to take care of the things I am too tired to do. Being an adult with full responsibilities is exhausting. (I can’t even imagine adding to this taking care of kids.)
When you move out of your parents, you need to develop a series of skills, because everything becomes your responsibility in your new home, no matter if you are sharing it or not.
